Shelly San Martin is a Senior Associate Attorney at the Bennett Law Center. Shelly’s primary areas are removal defense and humanitarian cases. She received a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law and was admitted into the Florida Bar in September 2018. Shelly received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Ashford University.
Prior to moving to Florida, Shelly served in the United States Air Force for 7 years, where she served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn Afghanistan. Shelly accredits the Air Force for teaching her how to have integrity in her work and to pay attention to detail.
Shelly continues to serve her community and currently serves as the New Members Committee Vice Chair for American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) Central Florida Chapter and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. Shelly was the recipient of the AILA Central Florida Chapter Exemplary Young Lawyer Award in 2019.
Shelly is a second-generation immigrant. Which has led her to dedicate her life to serving others and inspiring people to become whatever they wish to become because “it does not need to be easy, it just needs to be possible.”
