Meet Attorney Jon!

Jon was born in Pennsylvania, raised in Georgia, and practices business immigration and nearly every aspect of small business law. Jon graduated with a juris doctorate and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law and has been in the Orlando area for the majority of his practice, assisting businesses and their owners to develop, grow, and prosper. Jon has extensive experience in negotiating, drafting, and closing various commercial, intellectual property, real estate, and lending transactions.  He also assists in ensuring corporate, governmental, and tax compliance along with asset protection for businesses and their individuals. His well-rounded experience in multiple areas of law grants him the ability to effectively serve businesses and individuals to maximize their success. He has used this experience to assist local and foreign businesses to invest in the U.S. and assist foreigners to live in and immigrate to the U.S. through their business relationships. He is an enthusiastic teacher, educating those who are willing to learn.

Jon also enjoys helping his clients as they grow their businesses and become productive members of U.S. protect their business and personal assets through the implementation of carefully managed wills and trusts and preemptive estate and tax planning.

Jon’s experience in real estate law and transactions include preparation and evaluation of loan documents, buy/sell agreements, and residential and commercial real estate contracts.  Jon also conducts residential and commercial real estate closings.

Jon’s practice in the area of intellectual property includes assisting businesses with protecting and defending their ideas, images, trade secrets, and work product from intentional and unintentional use by other entities.  Jon personally conducts the research of the copyrights and trademarks and then completes the registration process.

Foreign businesses may benefit from Jon’s experience in international business transactions and international tax implications.  Jon traveled to Russia and delivered the lecture “Government Incentives and Services for International Commerce and Investments” at an international business symposium.

Jon enjoys reading business journals and educating his clients.  His professional goal is to create long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships that empower his clients to optimize their business, secure their assets, and operate as stress free as possible.  He has conducted various business lectures and seminars in Central Florida.
